Polymer materials are based on a macromolecular compounds and combined by
relative molecular mass high compounds and include rubber, plastics, fiber, coating,
adhesive and polymer compound materials. Polymers are life existence forms. All
lives can be regarded as a polymer material set. Polymer materials can be roughly
divided into natural, half synthesis (modified natural polymer material) and compound
polymer materials according to origins. Synthesis polymer phenolic resin presented in
1907 symbolizes the start that the human applies synthesis polymer materials. In the
late of 1830s it entered natural polymer chemistry modified stage and half synthesis
polymer materials presented. Modern polymer materials have become important
materials in science and technology and economic development because polymer
material technologies are mature and same as metallic materials and inorganic
nonmetallic materials. |
