TheasymmetricaluminiumoxideflatmembraneswerepreparedbysinteringthepolymericprecursorswhichweremadeofN-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP),polyethersulfone(PESf)andaluminiumoxidepowder.Inthepolymericprecursor,N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP)wasusedassolventandpolyethersulfone(PESf)wasusedaspolymerbinder.ThealuminiumoxideflatmembraneswerecharacterizedusingsimultaneousthermalanalysisandSEM.Effectsofthecontentofinorganicpowdersandthesinteringtemperatureonthestructurewerestudied.Theasymmetricstructureresultedfromthephaseinversiontechniquewaspreservedafterthesinteringprocess.Thismembranewithamoderatepermeationcharacteristiccanserveasahighperformancefiltermaterial.
